We mentioned briefly in class about sports and IP. I did some more research and came across a good article summing up IP and sport leagues. The section most relevant to our class is titled: Who Owns Stats?.

On a side note, it seems that a lot the debate with IP and sports statistics can be tracked back to a case we discussed a bit earlier in the year--Feist Publications, Inc., v. Rural Telephone Service Co.
